Our City of Cayce Fire Department trucks are often on the scene before EMS can arrive at a fire, accident or medical emergency. AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) have been a vital asset in each truck's emergency kits. Thanks to donors like Southern First Bank , we were able to purchase new AEDs that communicate with Lexington EMS. This eliminates the need to immediately switch AEDs once EMS arrives - saving time and lives.
