The CPSF is a semi-independent 501(c)(3) Foundation that supports the Cayce Police and Fire Department. This means we report our revenue and expenses to the Secretary of State and file a separate 990 IRS form like other 501(c)(3) organizations. Our Board Members, however, are appointed by Cayce City Council.
Of the 15 board members, 10 are either residents of or business owners in Cayce. We volunteer to create fundraisers, write grants, and review fund request allocations.
But we can't do it without our supporters. Donations are an important part of the mix in making sure we can help with Police and Fire needs. You can give at www.caycepsf.org
